The
sculptures below were carved by us at the World
Ice Art Championships
in Fairbanks, the Alaska State Ice Carving Championship at the
Penninsula Winter Games in Soldotna, and the Crystal
Gallery of Ice in Anchorage.
Click on the pictures for larger
views and click on the years for more pictures and information about
our ice carving those years. For each year there will be
pictures of the sculptures in progress and different views of
them finished. Some will include drawings and plans and some of the
thoughts behind the sculptures. It will be some time before I
get
all of this up on the web site, but eventually I hope it will be a good
history of our ice sculpting. The works of art are gone. What remain
are the pictures and the memories.
